310-2 Electric Strike
For standard commercial lock with a latch throw of 1/2'' or 5/8''.
See Images Tab for example.
How To Order:
Specify Voltage (12 or 24 volt DC)
Specify Finish (faceplate finish is 32D stainless steel standard with other finishes available)
Options:
Function: Fail Secure is standard, Fail Safe is optional
Switches: A number of switch options are available, but people normally order with no switches at all, or the LCBM switch combination. LCBM stands for Locking Cam & Latchbolt Monitor, which is two separate switches.
Switches are used in high security environments where remote monitoring is required.
Locking Cam Monitor - sends a signal when the ''jaw'' of the strike is locked in place.
Latch Bolt Monitor - sends a signal when the latch is securely inside the strike.
Once a signal is receviced from both switches you know the door is both closed and locked securely. If you receive only 1 signal (or no signal) then the door is not 100% secure.
| Folger Adam Notes
The Optional Switches can be a bit confusing. **You can buy a standard strike with no additional switches at all. **If you want switches, you now must order LCBMA. LCBMA consists of 3 switches: 1) Locking Cam monitor 2) Bolt monitor 3) Aux switch
