The 2310ME SENTRONIC® is a concealed heavy duty, electrically controlled closer/holder designed to provide infinitely adjustable hold-open for fire and smoke barrier doors. Door is held open until current interruption releases mechanism and the door closes. Single lever (track) arm closer is specifically designed for interior doors. Choice of finishes, cylinder functions, and installation accessories meet virtually all life safety requirements.

The 2310ME Series is UL & ULC listed for smoke barrier or labeled fire doors.  Tested and certified under ANSI Standard A156.15. Conforms to life safety code, NFPA 101.

This closer is part of the Sentronics series, which includes an electric hold open feature in the closer.  The unit ties to a fire alarm system via 2 wires, either 24 volt or 120 volt (choose voltage when ordering).  The circuitry can accept either AC or DC input.  When the fire alarm sounds, the hold open clip releases allowing the door closer to take over and close the door.

To meet fire code, fire-rated doors must be self-closing and self-latching.  This causes a problem with a door that needs the hold open feature.  Using a Sentronic closer allows you to meet fire code and still hold the door open.  The door may hold open in any position up to 180 degrees.

Model 2313 uses a Size 3 spring for standard sized doors (3.0 x 7.0).  Also available is 2314 with a Size 4 spring for larger doors.  Both models allow you to adjust the spring during installation.
