4040SE Holder Release
Overview
Holder / Release Door Closer available in 120v AC or 24v DC. We stock Aluminum and Dark Bronze finishes in good quantities, Light Bronze and Sprayed Brass in small quantities.
Non-Handed, may be installed on either side of door.
Door Size
Spring is fully adjustable and comes factory preset for 36'' door. Closing and latching speed adjusted as follows:
A normal closing time from 90 degrees is 5-7 seconds, evenly divided between main and latching speed. If adjustments are needed, use socket screw key furnished. To adjust main speed, turn regulating screw clockwise to slow speed, counter clockwise to increase speed. Latching speed is adjusted the same way.
Wiring
Wires may be run either concealed or exposed. Power furnished must match that listed on the Sentronic label. The unit has 2 connection terminals and wires may be connected to either, polarity not important.
To test connections, open door to hold open position with power on. Press the test release button and door should close immediately. If door does not release check electrical connections.
